Tennis champion Serena Williams may boast seven Wimbledon titles, but her priorities have shifted since becoming a mom. Volunteering at her daughter Olympia’s school trumps even the most prestigious trophies.

“Volunteering at my kid’s school? That’s more rewarding than any Wimbledon trophy,” the 42-year-old recently shared in a Byrdie digital cover story.

The interview delves into motherhood and her bond with 6-year-old Olympia. Since welcoming their second daughter, Adira, last August, Serena’s family life has blossomed.

“Being a mom lets me see beauty through Olympia’s eyes,” she says. “We experiment with makeup together, creating memories that will shape our beauty journeys.”

Serena, now leading her own makeup brand, WYN Beauty, hopes her career inspires her daughters to pursue their passions.

“I want them to know that authenticity is key,” she emphasizes. “Being your best self is more important than being the absolute best.”
