US pop sensation Ariana Grande is known to turn up the heat in her music videos, but the star typically keeps thing pretty low key on social media.

It seems she has made an exception this week, however, wowing fans with a couple of sizzling snaps taken on a recent holiday.

Shared to Instagram on Wednesday, the photos were taken on her holiday to Amangiri resort in Canyon Point, Utah with her boyfriend Dalton Gomez.

The resort is a favourite of Kylie Jenner, and it seems the Rain On Me singer took inspiration from the makeup mogul, including for a couple of rare bikini photos in her post.

Sporting a mint-coloured string bikini, the star snapped a couple of up close and personal selfies, grinning in the desert sun, with the rocky terrain setting off the brilliant colour.

In another, she shared a snap taken from below showing her chest and the underside of her jaw in which three of her reported 55 tattoos are on display.

One, a delicate leaf, is seen peeking out from beneath her left bikini triangle, while a Japanese phrase above her left elbow is also visible.

The tattoo reads “うたいましょう”, which translates to “let’s sing”.

On her neck, her famous crescent moon tattoo can also be seen.
