In 2019, Walker had recently completed a productive tenure with the Hornets. Walker, who had recently been named to the All-NBA Third Team, piqued the interest of a number of NBA clubs, most notably the Boston Celtics.
The All-NBA team selection joined the Celtics as a free agent. It should come as no surprise that Walker acquired a residence in the vicinity in the process. In pursuit of a residence in Brookline, the four-time All-Star spent his personal funds of $11.25 million. Walker would change franchises from the Celtics to the New York Knicks and then the Dallas Mavericks two years later. Walker, who is no longer a member of the Celtics, sold his property in Massachusetts for an unspecified sum. Present day, it appears that the former estate of Walker is once again available for rental. A monthly expenditure of $70,000 is all that is required to live the lifestyle of an NBA All-Star.
After its initial completion in 2019, the former residence of Walker is situated on a plot of 1.5 acres. The mansion comprises a total dwelling area of 9,592 square feet. There are eight restrooms and six bedrooms in total. A library, a family room, two grand staircases leading to the entrance, a contemporary kitchen fitted with high-end appliances, a master bedroom suite featuring an enormous walk-in closet and a luxurious bathroom, and a formal dining room, in addition to multiple indoor lounge areas, are all featured in the mansion.
The majority of the property’s amenities are located within the residence. The consequence is a scarcity of outdoor space. In fact, a substantial driveway that leads to the garage occupies the majority of the backyard. Additionally, there are verdant spaces available for the purpose of planting. Walker was a rising point guard at one stage. It is therefore not unexpected that he could afford to reside in such a lavish mansion. Despite his retirement from NBA competition, Walker will continue to earn a substantial salary in the Euroleague. Celebrity Net Worth estimates that Walker’s net worth is approximately $20 million, a figure that has remained relatively stable over the past few years.
