John Fury’s assault on a member of Oleksandr Usyk’s staff that left Tyson Fury’s father bleeding from the forehead provoked an unexpected reaction from Conor McGregor, who hasn’t stopped laughing about the situation.

‘The Notorious’ started with an innocent emoji of laughter at the video of Tyson Fury’s father, but did not leave it at that and later posted the moment of the headbutt to Stanislav Stepchuk, a young man who was part of Usyk’s team.

He did so with a comment in which he made it clear he wasn’t ready to stop the fun: “Nah, we not moving on from this yet,” along with three other emojis of laughter with tears.

Ahead of a face-off for the Fury vs Usyk heavyweight fight this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, members of Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk’s teams came to blows in a violent confrontation.

The laughter from McGregor, who took it as fun and not something serious, was seconded by former MMA fighter Chael Sonnen, who doubted that John Fury’s blood was authentic, since for a headbutt, three different cuts were visible.

“It’s bad behavior, because he’s a big man. He is a fighter, he is not a street fighter,” Oleksandr Usyk expressed about the altercation, although his team did demand an apology, despite the fact that they did not press charges for the aggression.

John Fury apologizes for headbutt

After the video of his headbutt went viral, John Fury offered a half-hearted apology, in which he justified his ever-confrontational essence.

Tyson Fury’s father continued: “What matters to me is respect for my son and he wasn’t showing any of that. He mentioned my son and that was it, so he had to have it. It [the bleeding] doesn’t bother me, it’s what we live for, we’re fighting people. That’s something that happens to me on a regular basis.”
